Juan is a PhD candidate of the Data Analytics and Society Centre for Doctoral Training funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). He has an MSc on Transport Planning and the Environment from the Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds and worked in industry as a transport planner. His research focuses on simplified models to estimate traffic levels on residential and low-volume roads that can inform policy making.
