Yitao Yang

He is a Research Fellow, working on the project of urban navigation supported by funding from the Leverhulme Trust and the Alan Turing Institute. His research aims to uncover whether and how diverse transport options reduce socio-spatial segregation for individuals with different socioeconomic backgrounds by leveraging high-resolution mobility dataset of mobile phone users.

His research interests also include mobility networks analysis, individual travel behaviors and urban studies.
