Yihang is a PhD student in the ESRC CDT Data Analytics & Society, affiliated with School of Geography and Leeds Institute for Data Analytics at the University of Leeds. Yihang’s current research focuses on changes in travel behaviour within urban transport systems, particularly in response to various traffic disruptions. The research aims to collect and analyse data to develop agent-based models, predicting how individuals adapt their travel behaviour when faced with such disruptions. This project involves collaboration with the Transport for West Midlands to provide practical application and contextual knowledge, potentially aiding transportation authorities in improving their services and encouraging changes in travel behaviour.
